Remote Location Weld Test

This weld test must be performed solely by the intended recipient. No other person may complete any part of the test. Automatic rejection of your application will apply if found otherwise.

You will need the following items to perform the JBS Welding Test.
 
Tacked Plates For The Welds:
x3 - “T” plates for 3/8” fillet.
x1 - “L” plate for vertical down hand both sides.

Once you have completed the JBS Remote Welding Test and Drawing Comprehension Test, submit your results below.

WELD TEST - START

HARDWIRE
• Flat, 3/8” Fillet
• Overhead, 3/8” Fillet
• Open Corner
• Vertical Down-hand Corner

FLUX CORE
• Flat, 3/8” Fillet
• Verticle Up-Hand, 3/8”

METAL CORE
• Flat, 3/8”

NOTE: Before and after pictures will need to be submitted at the end of the test.
The visual evaluation of the quality of the welds are heavily impacted by the quality of the pictures you take of the results. Please make sure you send high resolution images.
